I love working as a copywriter on creative campaigns, as these often involve collaboration with other creatives, and I thrive when working in a team, exchanging strategic ideas. I've done writing for exhibitions, museum spaces, adverts, pop-up activations, digital campaigns, story ideas and more.
Copywriter responsible for the V&A Waterfront's Joy From Africa to the World (JFA) campaign, which won Loeries Grand Prix and Gold Awards in 2021. For over five years, JFA has presented an authentic African festive-season celebration for visitors to the Cape Town Waterfront. It features decor and installations produced from predominantly sustainable materials, made by local artists, designers and makers. From 2019 to 2021, I was responsible for all the campaign copy, including exhibition boards, social media and website. I was contracted by Platform, the creative team behind the project, which was rated as the Top Small Creative Agency in Africa and the Middle East in 2021 by the Loeries. ​

Copywriter for V&A Waterfront 100 Beautiful Things - a campaign conceptualised by Platform to celebrate South African creativity during lockdown. I wrote 500-word features on more than 50 of the 100 things selected. This was featured on a dedicated website, with snippets used for social media and exhibition boards that accompanied a complementary installation at the Waterfront in Cape Town. Copywriter for V&A Waterfront 100 Beautiful Experiences - a creative campaign conceptualised by Platform to bring people back to the Waterfront in Cape Town after lockdown. These 100 experiences were promoted as a social-media campaign over 30 days, accompanied by photographs and illustrations commissioned to young, local creatives. ​


Copywriter for a physical exhibition and complementary online campaign called 100 Beautiful Baskets, conceptualised and executed by Platform for the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
